The McCoy House Extended Care for Women is designed for women who are ready to live in a structured, supportive, and recovery-focused environment. We are a good fit for women who are committed to their recovery and willing to take responsibility for their next steps.
A good fit for our program is a woman who:
- Is approved for an outpatient level of care and is willing to engage in recovery programming
- Is seeking more than housing alone and wants accountability, structure, and support
- Can commit a minimum of 90 days
- Is open to feedback, direction, and personal growth
- Can live respectfully in a shared environment, including following house rules, curfews, and chores
- Is psychiatrically stable and able to manage mental health needs with appropriate outside support
- Able to comply with house medication policies, with MAT limited to Naltrexone and Vivitrol
- Able to not work for at least the first 30 days
- Values honesty, respect, responsibility, and peer accountability
Application Process
The application process for McCoy House has two main parts: an interview and an application. These can be completed in any order and together begin the admissions process.
The intake interview is a chance for us to learn more about you, your recovery goals, and your needs—and just as importantly, for you to learn more about McCoy House and decide whether our program feels like the right fit. We encourage potential residents to take time to reflect on whether our program is the right fit and to engage thoughtfully in the application steps. Our intake application includes detailed information about our program guidelines and costs.
