Every donation and purchase stays local, directly funding the mission and services of McCoy House. We are incredibly grateful to our donors and community whose generosity makes this work possible.

Donation Process
Donations are accepted at the green door in the back of the store. Ring the doorbell on a donation day and a
team member will come to help with items.
We can send a team to pick up large furniture pieces within central Mississippi. The McCoy House is a
501(c)3, and all donations are tax deductible. Be sure to ask for a donation receipt when you drop off donations.
Donation Best Practices
Clothing should be clean and checked for holes, strong odor, and stains. We cannot accept used
undergarments of any kind. Remember, people are sorting through all of your donations.
We give you permission to throw away clothing and home goods that are broken, soiled, or otherwise in disrepair. Clothing can either be on hangers or folded in bags. Small home items can be donated in boxes
Items We Do Not Accept
Undergarments without New Tags, Car Seats, Cribs, Large Appliances, Used Mattresses, Electronic Medical Equipment, and any item with a recall.
Paying It Forward
Giving back is part of our mission. Items we don’t sell are donated to our local partners such as Gateway,
Shower Power, CARA, ARF, and others who serve our community.
Each week, we give more than 300 pounds of donated items back to local organizations—extending the impact
of every donation far beyond our store.
